While we are fairly serious and passionate in our pursuit of being homesteaders and advocates within the food system, honestly, we are just a bunch of goofy, down-to-earth, basic humans.
This family loves to spend almost every waking minute outdoors when we can, enjoying the luxuries that life has given us to be able to enjoy things such as hiking, camping, planting our gardens, dancing in snow and making weird veggie jokes.
Together we became passionate about this simple small farm dream.

Olivia
The Herbal farmer florist, and dreamer of this business.
Hi, I am Olivia, also known to my family as Lilly, a nickname among too many other nicknames I have acquired over my lifetime (Josh's favorite is Lizard). I'm an introverted, but sometimes an outspoken Aries. A mother, a community scientist, an artist, a teacher to some and most of the time just a pure laborer.
I live to work and play hard on this beautiful land, I am a people pleaser, and I love collaboration with others.
My roots are originally from the high desert mountains of northern Arizona, where I spent most of my childhood life, but I also have other places that I call home for different reasons, including this home we have created in the Bitterroot Valley since 2019.
With a degree in Environmental Science, I developed a passion specifically for farming as a way to combat the climate crisis we have been continually confronting. I also as a young adult became passionate about sustainable flowers and herbalism . With over a decade of experience working in the floral industry on and off, and 13 seasons ago since the beginning of my introduction of working on farms.I have farmed veggies, grown flowers and studied herbalism all over this beautiful country.
Some of my other passions that many of you will see me involved with is foraging and using herbalism as a way to connect with the land around me.
I am a passionate crafter of soap, and other potions and concoctions that i enjoy playing with.
I want to be able to walk into a forest and know every plant and species that surrounds me, it makes me feel like I understand the world a little better and it is very empowering.
Sometimes you might see me working in our local schools as a substitute teacher.
And sometimes I am a downhill or cross country ski bro. :)
My dream has always been to run my own sustainable farm, and I am making that dream a reality one day at a time.
Josh
"The farmers wife."
(His direct words)
Josh is a local arborist and tree trimmer, with his own business "Soller Tree Care"
He is a fierce, but gentle ally and caretaker of all things trees, and advocating for people to work on tree longevity rather than seeing trees as a threat to their safety and homes. He offers high quality services climbing trees to trim them, remove broken branches, and when needed full removals can be done.
Josh is originally from Colorado, but has also spent many years of his younger adult life traveling the world by bicycle.
Josh is also a passionate farmer to this little farm. He is great with getting all the nitty gritty done, and always down to design and navigate building projects.
Creating a space on our land that can be rewilded and left for the other critters to enjoy is an important piece of our small property.
The sourdough bread baker, calculated + precise builder, wooden spoon carver, avid book reader and an incredible father and husband. He is the other half of this beautiful dream.

Emmer
Born in 2020! Our little pandemic baby was born.
I wouldn't say it was the time or pregnancy that we imagined but honestly, I don't think we could imagine it happening any other way now. He has been such a delight for us during dark times that many of us have endured.
Born a whopping 8 1/2 lb baby, a healthy and thriving Montana boy he is.
Emmer loves to chatter with us, in the ways that he can, he loves new experiences but sometimes seems a little stoic, smiling is his favorite (yes in Will Ferrell's voice), and he is completely enamored when he gets to work in the greenhouse and on the farm with mom.
We hope he loves this farm life as much as we do!
