Strawberry Moon Soap
The strawberry moon is one of my personal favorites, it represents the shift from spring into summer and one of the obvious delights that come into fruit are of course little delicious strawberries.
This surreal and abstract scene soap is made with real strawberries grown on our farm, and scented with frankincense EO, grapefruit EO, rose EO, and local honey.
Naturally colored with indigo for the blue sky, purple and pink clay for the sunset, annatto for the orange sunset, and chlorella for the green mountains.
I joked that this soap turned out more like a Van Gogh scene, not that it matches that level of skill, but like any soaps I make, there are always variations and things that don't always come out exactly as I may expect it to because of the nature of surprises when pouring and hoping you are doing the right technique. It's always a fun surprise.
